SO the parking wardens are going to be out for motorists from 08.00 to 20.00.
Why don’t the council go the whole hog and issue them with Gestapo uniforms?Joking aside, Scarborough Borough Council seems to have completely lost track of its raison d’etre, which is to run the borough for the BENEFIT, not to the detriment of, the residents.

I have no problem where parking restrictions are in place to ease congestion, but most are there simply to raise revenue to finance the council’s excesses.

I am fed up with being ticketed for parking on my own garage apron, which is my property, and for parking in a loading bay whilst committing the nefarious activity of ... loading!
