RE: dogs on the beach.
Children should come first, not dogs.

My three-year-old once again got covered in dog mess on the beach.

I counted 18 messes from Scalby Mills to the Sands. Disgusting.

Why should we put up with this?

Let them mess in their own gardens and let the children enjoy the beach – all year long!

If 5,000 owners and their dogs want to use the beach daily, that’s a lot of mess; where’s it all going to go? Apart from on our feet, children’s hands and chucked about in plastic bags.

They should be banned and that would spread their mess, or the new road signs should read Welcome To Dog Mess on the Beach, Scarborough!
