I had occasion to travel down Queen Margaret's last week.

I joined the tailback at the bend near the Mere, and from there it took nearly 15 minutes to reach the junction.

The trouble is, the traffic is always heavier travelling outbound from town, and given the fact that the majority of drivers won't stop to let you in it causes great problems.

Many drivers were taking a chance to dash out when there was a small space, an accident waiting to happen!

Also, traffic emerging from the MKM/Currys junction wanting to turn right were always able to turn left, go round the roundabout then head back to town. not any more.

Cars and vans now sneak across past the central reservation to turn right, the large delivery lorries from MKM have started turning left, then right into Edgehill Road, right again into Hinderwell Road then left again on to Seamer Road to go into town.

Not a very convenient move with a loaded lorry.

Have any solutions been mentioned? I await to see an answer.
