MIGHT the question be asked as to why Scarborough Council has seen fit to make South Cliff car park into a pay and display and why the hefty charge of £1.50 per hour?
This is a lovely place to sit mainly because it is away from the town and its commerce.

Will the council be charging to sit in church yards and cemeteries in the future?
