AROUND 200 people took part in the fun activities at the annual Hunmanby Gala.
There was an action packed programme of events at the gala including terrier racing, a ferret and a children's treasure hunt.

The gala was held at the Hunmanby Playing Fields, in Sands Lane.

Organiser Marilyn Skelton, of Stonegate, Hunmanby, said: "This event has been running since 1976 and is one of the only events left in Hunmanby. People really enjoy it. It is mainly people from Hunmanby who come as well as people who used to live here, who enjoy coming back for the gala.

"The weather was not brilliant but I was delighted to see so many people there."

Children also took part in activities including the sack race and egg and spoon race.

There was also gladiator jousting, a bouncy castle, a variety of stalls including tombola and coconut shy, birds of prey, tractor display and a climbing wall.
