RYAN Cooper netted five fine goals as Trafalgar dominated Translift to claim a 7-2 away win in the North Riding FA Sunday Challenge Cup.
Dean Craig and Ben Salt were also on target for Liam Salt's charges who were 3-1 up at the interval.

Salt said: "It was a great win for the team as we worked very hard and didn't allow them into the game while also taking our chances."

Strongwo
od were another side to show their potential in the competition as they defeated Thorntree 6-1 at home.

Striker Eric Hall ended the game with a hat-trick while Nick Heggarty, Matty Drury and Adie Blake were also on target for the winning side.

Star made the Inland Revenue pay in their clash, claiming a 4-0 home victory.

Striker Ben David fired Star ahead early doors and that proved to be the only goal of the first half.

Forward Dean Lill doubled the advantage in the second half and was joined on the scoresheet by Kyle May and Gareth Sygrove.

West Pier also used home advantage as they beat Colburn Inn 3-0.

Striker Paul Provins fired Pier ahead following some fine work by Jamie Bradshaw and James Temple down the right flank.

And the advantage was doubled when Bradshaw found the target for himself with a fine strike from 25 yards before half-time.

Carl Young wrapped things up for Paddy Parke's charges midway through the second half with a powerful finish in the top corner.

Commercial put in a brave effort against Alm Engineering but lost out at home 8-2.

The visitors were 3-0 up when Jamie Fowler pulled a goal back for Commercial with a neat finish.

Nick Palmer added another for the hosts in the second half with a thunderous shot but they were always second best. Midfielder Mike Clark was the Commercial man of the match.
