Moorsiders join Wearside League

KIRKBYMOORSIDE have been accepted into the Wearside League for the 2008/09 campaign.
The Moorsiders were voted in at the league's AGM by member clubs along with fellow new outfit Newton Aycliffe.

Kirkby boss Darren Rivis said: "We are delighted with the news, the meeting went well.

"The decision to vote us into the league is massive for this football club because it puts us firmly on the non-league pyramid."
