SCARBOROUGH Academy under-19s got their Northern Alliance season off to an outstanding start as they hammered Pontefract 12-0.
Joe Danby led the charge with four goals, including a first-half hat-trick, while Neil Thomas chipped in with a treble.

Further strikes came from Matty Brown, Josh Greening, Wayne Brooksby, Ben Asquith and a penalty from keeper Rob Clark.
