A SCARBOROUGH man has admitted being in possession of cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis.
Michael Hill, 21, of Londesborough Road, was arrested after being searched by a police officer on the West Pier on April 13.

Prosecuting at Scarborough Magistrates' Court, Steven Ovenden said Hill was frank when quizzed by police and said he had been using drugs for the past few months.

Shaun Greenan, in mitigation, said Hill, a self-employed joiner, was only in possession of a small amount of drugs which he had bought "purely for personal use". He added: "Since this matter he has not used drugs at all."

The case was adjourned until Thursday May 15 for a pre-sentence report.
