Scarborough is new Roswell?
MILLIONS of television viewers in the United States of America will be made aware that Scarborough and North Yorkshire has become the latest hotspot for sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFOs).
A camera crew for ABC News travelled to the area from London and interviewed a number of people about recent and historic close encounters with strange lights and unidentified objects in the area.
Miguel Marquez, a 43-year-old TV reporter who used to live in Roswell in New Mexico, said that people were always interested in unidentified objects. He added: “I think a lot of people feel that we are not alone in the universe.”
He attended the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell – the nearest town to an alleged UFO crash in 1947. He added: “I went to school in Roswell which makes me more aware of stories about UFOs. America hasn’t only got Roswell but there were the Pheonix lights and Area 51. When I saw the story about Yorkshire I thought ‘how interesting’.”
Mr Marquez added that up-to-now Yorkshire had not really been on the UFO map until it was revealed as a hotspot last month. He said: “Do we ever find what we are looking for? For this report we are talking to the people of Yorkshire and finding that sceptical people are seeing things that they can’t explain.”
The finished report is likely to be broadcast to an estimated audience of four million people within the next few days as part of the ABC News programme Nightline – the American equivalent to Newsnight.
And the camera crew decided to travel to the Scarborough area after seeing a story in the Scarborough Evening News.
Filey-based UFO investigator Russ Kellett was interviewed for the report. He said: “I think they’ve established that this area is something of importance. The video images I showed them speak for themselves. I’m not there to sell myself –it’s what is going on and it is in this area. They listened to me but we will just have to see how it comes out.”

Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 07:38 PMAs posted on a previous article about Mr. Kellett and his mythical ramblings of utter nonsenwse.------I respect Russ Kellett in sticking with his mythical beliefs but he really needs to come into 2010.------ In an article published in the SEN 230209 in the SEN Russ Kellett said that at a forthcoming UFO Conference at the SPA,------ "It has been organised to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the European visit by George Adamski."------Mr Kellett said: “George Adamski, "He actually met the Pope and got a medal from him."------According to testomonies by May Morlet-Flitcroft and Lou Zinsstag's , "It was on May 13, 1963 that Adamski allegedly met Pope John XXIII. On St Peter Place, Rome, Adamski asked his two friends May Morlet-Flitcroft and Lou Zinsstag to stay there and wait for him. Then, he crossed through the crowds of tourists and disappeared behind a distant door. Adamski never met the Pope. His medal, claimed to be given from the Pope to Adamski, it is nothing more than a 'tourist souvenir' made by a commercial company in Milan. This explains why the medal was in a common plastic box. I am sure that Adamski believers will be very embarrassed to prove the contrary by a written statement from the Medagliere della Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana" end of testimony.------Mr. Kellett is also quoted as saying, "That Mr Adamski was buried alongside American Presidents – an honour normally reserved for members of the Senate, dignitaries and presidential family members------Mr. Adamski was eligible for burial in Arlington under provisions of Public law 526, 80th Congress (62 Sta.234) as amended by Public Law 86-260, 86th Congress, (73 Stat 547) as indicated in paragraph 1.------He was buried in Section 43, Grave 295 on April 29th 1965. He had served as a Private in the U.S.Army in 1918-1919. According to law any man who has served honourably in the Armed Forces of the United States may be buried in a National Cemetery.------Both were researched from the web which anyone can do.------There is more reality in the Sigourney Weaver film, "Galaxy Quest". All make believe.------ Nothing to date has ever been proven to come from another planet. The 'UFO's' etc eventually turn out in most instances to be project aircraft on flight tests as we have had with the 'Blackbird', B1 B, Stealth bomber etc etc. As for Filey and Scarborough being the centre of the UFO universe, we are below major civil and military flight paths.

Friday, December 17, 2010 at 12:22 AMSorry markdrum. The SBC ARE the aliens! But with regard to the sports village, the football ground we are going to get is only a grade C with a max' capacity of merely 1,950, or in other words, smaller than Brid's current ground, in contrast to the old McCain Stadium which was a grade A. With the SBC's new sports village offering we'll not be allowed back into the conference national! Don't think people of Scarborough have cottoned on to this yet! Aliens are already in the town hall mark! Sod Roswell, they're already here!

Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 07:57 PMIt would be nice to see if the extraterrestials had and preferences as to what television shows they preferred to watch. Just imagine the new markets for commerce that will open up when they finally disclose their existence. There's money to be made here.

Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 03:53 PMAhhh, it's all becoming clear now.... SBC has been building its own FTL spacecraft in order to escape their increasingly irate public. Don't know how far the Benchmark Hyperdrive will get 'em though ?

Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 01:11 PMSBC are probably in consultation with the aliens with regard to investment in a sports village, either that or they have seen the OAT from space and are intrigued as to why we have done such a thing.
