Prom ban is quite petty

RE Prom ban for pupil who missed school (Evening News, June 23).

I agree this action is petty, particularly as Harrison helped to put the event together, it leaves a nasty taste.

Given the same circumstances, and if Harrison was my friend at school, if he could not go to the Prom then I would not be going either.

I cannot see what Scarborough College has to gain by this action.
