Learn about epilepsy
THE Scarborough branch of Epilepsy Action is inviting people to an education and awareness event at Friarage School on Wednesday March 7.
The event will take place from 4pm to 6pm.
Organisers have written to over 100 schools across the Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby and Malton areas inviting members of staff to attend.
Parents are also welcome, as are representatives from local nursery schools.
Tracey Vasey, chairman of the Scarborough branch, explained that the event will feature a talk about the epilepsy policy that should be in place in schools.
