Claims by our MPs were to maximum
RE Robert Goodwill's expenses.
Mr Goodwill was hauled over the coals for saying he could claim over the amount allowed for travelling expenses when he was an MEP: the reason he gave was that he wanted to see how easy it was to do.
Mr Goodwill claimed the maximum 400 per month food expenses, even during Lent, and expected us to believe that he was told this is the way it should be done and he thought every MP was claiming the maximum.
Come on! Surely you can do better than that. Why not say you did not want to upset the ratepayers by refusing their kind offers?

COME back Guy Fawkes, all is forgiven.
After the events of the past few months our prisons should be overflowing with MPs.
If it had been us peasants that had been caught the police would have been round in no time battering our doors down. Parliament must have a chance of having the world's record-breaking orchestra.
Well they have 646 MPs to start with. They have made the phrase "right honourable member" obsolete, it should now be "right dishonourable member."
