RE your article on the Sunken Garden – March 2.

I agree entirely with Adrian Perry, chairman of the Civic Society. To block this space entirely with a building would be very damaging to the town.

Why Gordon Somerville feels that he can voice an opinion, when he has been long retired, mystifies me!
