THIS WEEK: The Corner Cafe Bar and Restaurant The refurbished Corner Cafe-Bar and Restau-rant is comfortable and stylish with co-ordinating decor and furnishings and comfortable seating.

THIS WEEK: Ask Restaurant, North Wharf, Sandside, Scarborough Ask Restaurant is situated overlooking the harbour – a nice modern building with a large outdoor seating area and also another outside seating area on a balcony above, large windows giving a good view of the harbour and the sea beyond.

THIS WEEK: SUN COURT CAFE, SPA COMPLEX, SCARBOROUGH The Spa Complex is home to the Sun Court Café, and with fantastic views of Scarborough's South Bay it is the ideal place for a hearty meal, quick snack or a fairtrade hot beverage.

THIS WEEK: BALDERSON'S WELCOME CAFE, THORNTON-LE-DALE WE visited the Welcome Cafe in Thornton-le-Dale. The cafe is situated on the Scarborough to Pickering road and there are a number of parking spaces to the front of the cafe and plenty of spaces in the nearby pay and display car park.
