A YOUNG beautician is showing her entrepreneurial skills as she starts up in business on her own aged only 20.
After working at a beauty salon for two years Kate Taylor has decided she has the skills and ability to work for herself.

Miss Taylor is now renting a room at Salon Vie in Prospect Road, where she is looking forward to building up her own clientele.

Miss Taylor said: "I just felt like the time was right for me to start up on my own.

"I trained at college for three years, then I worked at a salon for two, so I am really excited about being my own boss and working for myself.

"I suppose I am a bit nervous because I am so young but I am confident in my ability. I know I am good at my job, and I really love what I do.

"I am really looking forward to welcoming new customers of all ages as I have tried to offer a range of services which will suite any needs."
