BOSSES at a Scarborough call centre have been given an award for their proactive approach to employee health and well-being in the workplace.
1st Locate, based in Eastfield on the Scarborough Business Park, received the accreditation for choosing to support all 40 employees, with a company-paid health cash plan scheme that will help to improve overall well-being and help keep them fit for work.

Employees of the Scarborough-based team are now able to claim money back towards the cost of everyday essential healthcare treatments including eye tests, new glasses or contact lenses at the optician, check-ups at the dentist, physiotherapy and stress-busting complementary therapies.

Commenting on the award, human resources manager Jade Richmond said: "Our employees are important to us to so we wanted to offer something that would be valuable to all, regardless of position or length of service with the company.

"We are very pleased with the package, the health cash plan from LHF has been very well-received and our employees are using it for their day to day well-being needs. The product is so easy to use and claims are processed very quickly."
