RAF Fylingdales' staff have been using the base's super-sensitive radar to track the latest voyage of a NASA spacecraft.
Yesterday, Endeavour launched from Cape Canaveral, a day later than expected, and on board was astronaut Nicholas Patrick who was born near Great Ayton.

Mr Patrick has taken with him a small Colonial Red Ensign flag and a photograph of Captain Jam...
