KEEP it handy ... the Evening News has prepared a guide to what's open and when over the Easter holidays; don't forget, we're out as normal!
SUPERMARKETS

Tesco:

Good Friday: Open as usual 24 hours

Saturday: Closes 10pm

Sunday: Closed all day

Easter Monday: 9am to 6pm

Normal 24 hours opening restarts 8am on Tuesday morning.



Proudfoots:

Good Friday: Shop – 8am to 8pm, Kiosk – 7am to 8pm

Saturday: Shop – 8am to 7pm, Kiosk – 7am to 7pm

Sunday: The Eastfield shop is closed with the kiosk open from 9am to 1pm while the Seamer shop is open from 9am to 8pm and the Newby shop is closed.

On Easter Monday: The Eastfield shop is open from 8am to 5pm with the kiosk open from 7am to 5pm the Seamer shop is open from 9am to 8pm and Newby 9am to 5pm with the kiosk open from 8am to 5pm.



Sainsburys:

Good Friday: Shop – 7am to 11pm, Petrol – 7am to 10pm

Saturday: Shop – 7am to 10pm, Petrol – 7am to 10pm

Sunday: Shop – Closed, Petrol – 8am to 8.30pm

Easter Monday: Shop – 9am to 7pm, Petrol – 7am to 10pm



Morrisons:

Good Friday: Shop – 8am to 8pm, Petrol – 7am to 8.30pm

Saturday: Shop – 8am to 8pm, Petrol – 7am to 10pm

Sunday: Shop – Closed, Petrol – 9am to 6pm

TRAINS:

TransPennine Express:

Good Friday:

A normal weekday service will operate subject to engineering work between Sheffield and Meadowhall.

Saturday and Sunday:

A normal Saturday and Sunday service will operate subject to engineering work between Sheffield and Meadowhall and in the Carlisle area.

On Sunday there will also be engineering work between Huddersfield and Leeds

Easter Monday:

A normal weekday service will operate subject to engineering work between Sheffield and Meadowhall.



Northern Rail:

Good Friday:

An altered service will operate due to engineering work between Wigan North Western and St Helens Central, Sheffield and Meadowhall and St Bees and Drigg.

Saturday:

An altered service will operate due to engineering work between Wigan North Western and St Helens Central, Haltwhistle and Wetheral, Sheffield and Meadowhall, Doncaster and Selby and St Bees and Drigg.

Sunday:

An altered service will operate due to engineering work between Wigan North Western and St Helens Central, Haltwhistle and Wetheral, Sheffield and Meadowhall, Penrith and Carlisle, Huddersfield and Leeds, Doncaster and Selby, St Bees and Drigg.

Easter Monday:

An altered service will operate due to engineering work between Wigan North Western and St Helens Central, Sheffield and Meadowhall, Edge Hill and Hunts Cross and St Bees and Drigg

Passengers are advised to check train times before they travel by calling National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50.



BUSES:

Scarborough and District buses will operate a Sunday timetable on all local bus routes this Good Friday.

A Sea Front service (109) from the Corner Cafe to the Spa complex and a bus to Bridlington (120) calling at holiday camps along the way will also be operating over the Easter period.

Normal services will run on all local bus routes except Service 128 between Scarborough and Helmsley, a special timetable extending to Sutton Bank will operate on Saturday and a Moorsbus services will also run on Saturday.
